Since the Lion G1 first rolled out in June 2025, GGR Motor has sold more than 8,000 units and delivered over 6,000 of them to riders across the country — Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak included. For Malaysia's first fully Bumiputera-owned electric motorcycle manufacturer, it has been a strong first lap.
A 3,000-a-month target
GGR Motor is now aiming to sell at least 3,000 electric motorcycles every month — roughly 36,000 units a year from a single model. Managing Director Muhammad Mussaddiq Mohamed Azmi describes the goal as grounded in the demand the company is already seeing on the ground.

Growing the network
Reaching that scale means getting closer to riders. GGR is building toward at least 100 official distributors nationwide by the end of the year, and has opened a new branch in Ipoh — a city it sees as ideally suited to short-distance, low-cost electric commuting.

- Target of 3,000 units a month (~36,000 a year)

It all ladders up to a single idea the company keeps coming back to: One Household, One EV.
